As the sixth round of the 2012 AMA Supercross Series loom just over the horizon, the city of San Diego is prepping for the event by hosting several kickoff parties within the city. Perhaps the most prolific of all the San Diego SX kickoff parties is being held by the team of Dodge Motorsports/Sycuan Casino/ Hart & Huntington/Bel Ray Racing - which boasts plenty of adult-oriented entertainment before the upcoming race on the next day. Dodge Motorsports/Sycuan Casino/ Hart & Huntington/Bel Ray Racing's kickoff party is scheduled for Friday, February 10, with the San Diego SX race scheduled for Saturday, February 11.

The whole shebang starts of promptly at 5:30 pm on Friday, when Carey Hart himself will be on hand to unveil his Gravity Games backflip bike. The bike - which was used by Hart in the 2000 Gravity Games to successfully perform the sport's first freestyle backflip - will be donated to the Sports Bar & Grill at Sycuan Casino as means of expressing Hart's gratitude to the company.

After the brief unveiling, fans who 18 years of age or older will be treated to an extended autograph session. Scheduled to start at 5:45 pm, the celebrities will do their best to try to fit everybody in. Stars on hand and available for autograph signings include Carey Hart, Ivan Tedesco, Josh Hill, Kyle Partridge, and Josh Hansen. They will be joined by international pinup model Sabina Kelley.

Finally, the night ends with a live music concert featuring Unwritten Law and Big B. The concert will be held at The Showcase Theatre at Sycuan Casino, and is open only to patrons aged 21 years of age or older. Unwritten Law is an American punk band based out of California, and they have been performing since 1990. Big B, from the same Suburban Noize record label, presents a unique blend of hip hop, rap, and punk. Tickets are also required to attend the concert, which can be purchased through Sycuan Casino's website.

The kickoff party is ideal for older attendees of the San Diego SX event, which takes place the following day at San Diego's Qualcomm Stadium. This will be the last chance for western motocross fans to attend a 2012 Supercross event until April, and this will be the last 2012 SX event held in the state of California. If you live on the West Coast, and have not yet seen a 2012 AMA Supercross event in person, this is an opportunity you can't afford to miss.

Having made its debut in the first round of the 2012 AMA Supercross Series, the Dodge/Hart and Huntington/Sycuan Casino/Bel-Ray Racing team is one of the newest organizations to try their hand as a motocross racing team. With professionals like Carey Hart involved as one of the team's main organizers and sponsors, and with riders like Hansen, Partridge, Tedesco, and Hill representing the team on the field, they are certainly a force to be reckoned with - even in their inaugural season.
