Troy Lee Designs is a company that has always been committed to providing some of the latest, greatest, and most innovative gear in the entire racing industry. The year 2012, although still young, has proven to be no different, and the team at Troy Lee Designs continues to crank out piece after piece of truly awesome gear. The unique designs seen in their 2012 SE3 line of helmets live up to all of the hype, and they're guaranteed to make you one of the most noticed riders on the track.

If any of the Troy Lee Designs SE3 helmets could be considered basic, it would be the SE3 McQueen helmet. With a two-tone color scheme of blue and red - the same colors made famous by the late Steve McQueen -- the helmet bears an American flag on one side and a detailed image of McQueen's face on the other. Large, bold letters on the back display the word “McQueen,” letting everybody know exactly where your loyalties lie, and his infamous number, the number 20, is also integrated into the helmet's design.

Taking their tribute to Steve McQueen one step further is the 2012 Troy Lee Designs SE3 McQueen Collector's Edition helmet. This truly beautiful piece features a patriotic red, white, and blue design. An image of Steve McQueen riding his own motorcycle highlights one side of the helmet, while a detailed portrait of the star graces the other. Several TLD logos have been integrated into the design.

As its name implies, the 2012 Troy Lee Designs SE3 Beast helmet is the most intimidating, and downright scary, design offered for the new season. Available in black and yellow or black and silver, the open jaws of a large beast are displayed prominently on the backside of the helmet - daring any racer behind you to make an attempt at passing. Multiple variations of the TLD logo are also visible in the helmet's graphics.

Next is the 2012 Troy Lee Designs SE3 Zap helmet. As the name suggests, this helmet features a futuristic design that is highlighted with energetic zaps of lightning. Available in a color scheme of Blue Chrome or Gold Chrome, the SE3 Zap helmet is undoubtedly one of the more innovative designs seen from TLD in 2012.

Meant to celebrate their own racing organization, the 2012 Troy Lee Designs SE3 Team TLD helmet features an involved graphic pattern of black, blue, white, red, and neon green. Multiple shades of certain colors add even more variety to the piece. As expected, several TLD logos are featured on the helmet, as are some insignias of the team's major sponsors.

The 2012 Troy Lee Designs SE3 Piston helmet is for riders who crave that fancy look - and have the money to afford it. Available in a color scheme of either purple or gold, the helmet features a large, jagged starburst pattern; highlighted in orange and black for the purple version or red and black for the gold version. A large Troy Lee Designs logo graces the top of the helmet.
