Oakley Crowbar with Troy Lee Designs MX Goggles

Oakley, a popular company that is known for producing high-quality eyewear of all types, has once again teamed up with Troy Lee Designs to offer a graphic goggle design meant strictly for motocross: the Oakley Crowbar MX Troy Lee Designs goggles. The duo has offered eye protection before, but they've truly pulled out all the stops when it comes to their latest collaboration.
The lenses themselves are larger in comparison to other goggles, a design that helps increase your field of vision while on the track. Constructed from super-strong, blue-tinted Lexan, a material that blocks out 100% of UVA, UVB and UVC rays, the goggles are equipped with a three-pin laminate tear-off system that allows you to easily remove or add a layer of scratch-resistance to your lenses. Packaged with a total of seven different laminates, you'll be able to tear this off without having to worry about procuring a new one.
These are surrounded by Oakley's patented O Matter material: a resilient type of plastic that is meant to fit snuggly on your face. The nose guard, made of the same O Matter material, can be easily removed for extra comfort or kept in place for added safety. Covered in bright colors, the frame itself is reminiscent of a child's most recent splatter paint project, though it actually borrows its paint scheme from the Phobia helmet released in 2007. Finally, a black headband keeps the entire package securely strapped onto your face - while sporting a large Oakley logo, of course.
But these goggles provide more than just eye candy for your competitors and spectators - indeed, these goggles are just downright comfortable to wear. Designed with moisture-wicking, triple fleece face foam and featuring rigid strap connectors that keep the goggles balanced properly and comfortably on your face, these goggles are just as functional as they are pretty.
Safety is another top feature of the Oakley Crowbar MX Troy Lee Designs goggles. Manufactured to meet ANSI Z87.1 standards, these goggles are meant to withstand high velocity impact and abuse. They also meet or exceed all EN 1938 MX requirements, meaning they're safe enough for all motocross events and meets.
Finally, the Oakley Crowbar MX Troy Lee Designs goggles can be placed in the included Microclear storage bag for safekeeping. The threads of this bag are made of micro-fine fibers, making it the ideal storage solution for any type of eyewear you own.
With an MSRP of $95.00, there are certainly eyewear options that are less costly than the Oakley Crowbar MX Troy Lee Designs. However, most of the other goggles on the market don't include all the additional features of these particular goggles, and surely none share its fresh, youthful paint job. If you're looking for something to spruce up your riding wardrobe and add some color to the blur created as you race around the track, look no further. If you're just starting out in the sport, or if you wish to remain a little less visible on the track, plain goggles can be purchased for much less.
