Fox 2012 Covert Podium Gear Bag

Fox has done it again with another great graphic design for a gear bag. This bag is the from the Covert 2012 collection, and features a retro looking style that is built to last. The black white and orange of the Covert style is eye catching to say the least. The podium bag is Fox's full sized moto bag, like the shuttle, only it doesn't have wheels. This is a good bag for riders who just go from the garage to the truck to the track. If you are going to be carrying your bag long distances you may want to get the Shuttle (same bag but with wheels).

This bag has enough room for helmet, boots, gear, braces, and more. There is a goggle storage on the top flap. There are vented boot compartments on each end so your boots can dry out while in the bag. It is made of durable 600D polyester fabric, and features a shoulder strap for carrying. Another plus is the huge changing mat that folds out so you don't have to stand in the dirt while putting on your socks and boots. I personally stand in the truck bed, but I could see this being a nice change.

This is definitely a step up from just throwing all of your gear into the back seat. Having a gear bag helps me not forget stuff when I head to the track. I just put everything in there the night before and it's good to go. Also, it adds to the intimidation factor when you show up to the track looking like a pro with a gear bag!

These go for around $140.00 depending on where you buy from. Kind of expensive considering you could get the same effect with a rubbermade storage bin from walmart. But having a gear bag is such a convenience. If you plan on riding all the time then buying a gear bag is a great idea.
