Fox Racing is one of the biggest organizations in the entire motocross industry. Amongst many other things, they have a proven history of providing the sport with helmets that are not only stylish, but ones that meet and even exceed any safety standards that have been set in the sport. Their 2012 V3 line of racing helmets is no exception.
Before we get into the flashy graphics featured on their latest line of helmets, let's take a look at what exactly makes them a helmet that is second to none. Firstly, all helmets in the 2012 V3 series meets Snell 2005 & DOT Certifications. When you add this fact with the Kevlar and fiberglass construction of the helmet's shell, you can see how these are considered amongst the safest and most reliable helmets available on the market today.
But the 2012 V3 series of helmets focuses on comfort just as much as it does safety. This is apparent by a ventilation system that utilizes 10 intake ports and four exit ports to promote air circulation and moisture control within the helmet. Intake vents can be locked shut to prevent mud, dust, and dirt from entering, or they can be kept open during hot or humid races. Finally, the patented Coolmax liner, which can be removed for washing, provides extra padding and comfort around your entire head and face.
The first thing most riders will notice when looking at these helmets is quite obviously the aesthetic appeal. The Fox V3 Dungey Rockstar Replica features a white, black, and gold color scheme with a large Rockstar logo on the side and two Fox racing logos around the bottom of the helmet. For fans of the Ryan Dungey, this helmet would be the most obvious choice.
Next is the Fox V3 RC Monster Pro Replica. As you might expect, the helmet is emblazoned with the familiar Monster Energy logo. A green and white paint scheme matches the logo well, and the familiar Fox head logo let's everyone know exactly where you got the helmet. The Fox V3 RC Monster Matte Replica helmet features an identical design in black and green.
The Fox V3 Speed helmet is the most ordinary of all helmets in the 2012 V3 series, although it's anything but ordinary. Featuring a white base, the Fox V3 Speed boasts streaks of grey, black and slate that all end up blending together to create a stylish, modern design. Only those who examine the helmet's graphics close enough will see the Fox branding on the side of the Fox V3 Speed helmet.
Last in line is the V3 Steel Faith helmet. Boasting a graphic design that incorporates streaks of red, black, and grey, the V3 Steel Faith headpiece can easily be integrated into the existing color scheme of your riding gear. The iconic Fox head logo stands out prominently on the top of the helmet, which lets everyone know the caliber of equipment you're working with.
